Love's Timing

Now and then love likes to take its time, but it will come.

These two beautiful people met each other ten years ago in a brief moment. Eight years would pass before they would meet again.

There are a lot of people out there who wonder if they will ever find someone, if they will ever be loved, if someone will ever care for them. It will happen—be patient, be strong.

The journey for this couple took them from Colorado to Utah, and Idaho, to Henderson and Las Vegas and to each other.

I knew Erin in high school in Colorado and never thought that I would end up taking a few candid photographs at her wedding, or that I would ever even see her again knowing how life moves on and people move on. During the photography sessions, I saw Jordan (the lucky groom!) walk back down steps at the venue to pick up the train on Erin’s dress and help her with it as they went up the stairs. I saw him lay out the veil beautifully and help his bride look her best for their special day together. His face absolutely lit up with a grand smile at the first glance and, in the Vegas heat, both of them were troopers for the rest of the day.

I was honored to be a part of these two people coming together, no longer will they have to wait eight years to see each other again. No longer will they have to wait eight years to look into each other’s eyes, or hold hands, or brush fingers with one another, or whisper sweet secrets into each other’s ears that the world will never hear.
