Wedding Tip #2132 - Makeup!

This is gonna be a shorty, but an important one. Definitely find someone who can do your makeup well if you are not doing it yourself for your wedding.

      Too many times I have seen brides whose faces look orange or yellow (and that’s not even in photos!) because the foundation of their makeup did not match with their skin tone. Or there are brides whose makeup has not been blended well and its clear that even though their facial colors looks more natural (not too yellow or orange), their faces are a completely different color from the rest of them and so it is still painfully obvious the makeup was not done well. Or there are brides whose contour has gone out of control and instead of helping, looks like bruises on their face. (Yes, this has happened before and no, I’m not joking. Looked like a big bruise right on the cheekbones on both sides).

        So, if you are choosing to trust someone else with your makeup on your big day, make sure you find someone who has good reviews and who knows how to work with your natural skin tones.
